This is the footage my Lecturer took of me directing with the guidance of director Steve Finn.
This is just a rough edit of the clips it just shows how i directed a small group of a 1 page script in 1 shot.

Directions Unit: Filming Schedule

I have booked the Canon 7D to film on the days: Monday 10th - Wednesday 12th
Monday i will collect the camera and set it up and take test shots but not actually film.
Tuesday 11th February and Wednesday 13th February i will be filming my 4-minute Sorrow piece.
Tuesday I will film the outside scenes and Wednesday i will film everything i don't get done on Tuesday and the inside scenes.

What i will cover in my Director Statement:

Locations- "Home" which will be Jamie's bedroom
                  Alley Way, where Jamie will hesitate
                  Funeral Home, where Jamie will meet Lauren

Props- Urn, which Jamie collects from Lauren
           Photos, which will be on Jamie's bedroom floor
           Cardboard box, which the Urn will come in

Characters- Jamie, main character, Female, 28, Blonde long hair
                   Lauren, carries the package, Female, 24, daughter of funeral manager

Equipment- Camera, Canon 7D
                   Tripod
                   Rode Mic
                   Blimp

Sound- Foley
            Natural sounds from cars and people in the street.
            Soundtrack made by a Composer

This website gave me more of an in sight into what I was doing, It tells you about what a director does and the responsibilities, plus it says that a director should be creative and not hired until a first draft of the script is completed.

I feel that this didn't really help me with my Director's Statement as the director Stieg Larsson didn't explain why he did what he did. He just explained how he became the director of this film not what he did to make this film successful.
