Directions Unit: Reflections

Since starting i have came across a few problems that i have had to overcome, the first was trying to get actors in for auditions as no-one got back to me in time so i had to bring in people from our class.
The second major thing was the Fostec box on my shoot ran out of battery and we didn't have any spare so we just decided to shoot the footage and re-record the sound later, when i watch the sound back the canon picked up most of the sound to a good quality except on the main road as the cars were too loud so i did voice overs and they synced quite well. The background sound on most of the clips was usable if peoples voices hadn't been picked up throughout which meant using a buzz track instead of original sounds.
I had a lot more coverage on this shoot than the Meeting which i learnt from, and even though the canon i feel has better quality imagery the sound has messed up video this time so I will use the sony next time.
The quality of imagery on this shoot i am happy with as the outside scenes look very clear and it was a grey day which helps give the effect of sorrow and the inside scenes made the room look vibrant and colourful.
