Studio Production: Ideas

Idea 1
British type sitcom – pilot episode
This would be trying to be funny but not be that funny as its british humor so mainly puns which will be bad, but so bad that people will laugh
Idea suppose to be kindof like the inbetweeners as its british humor but not crude teenage comedy
I am thinking of an elderly situation in a set like a care home so would only really need 1 maybe 2 sets as these wouldn’t really move around anywhere
I was thinking of viewing this about 10 o clock so there could be rude and inappropriate language as that would be funny coming out of eldery peoples mouth.
The elderly could do surprising stuff like pretend to hoover with a lawn mower etc, but this will need to be figured out.
There would be cute moments where the elderly would forget things and talk about the modern outside and what they think of it. There is potential to repeat jokes and make you sigh as the joke was bad the first time and even worse the second time.
The funny aspects would need a bit of work and be figured out as there isn’t really any programs where elderly people sit around making jokes and doing stuff to make you laugh so the storyline needs work.
This is a rough idea and needs work and could be hard to figure out and record but I feel its different and there could be potential.
Only having 1 set for this would be helpful for filming the pilot episode and means less work in making this come to life.
The VT’s will be made up of the character profiles but with a twist so to make them funny the characters will not just be in their wheel chairs.
I am thinking of having 3 or 4 main characters that will be sitting and chatting about the world making jokes that are terrible but this will have to be made funny.

Idea 2-

A tasting show
This could be broadcasted at anytime between 6pm and 10pm depending on what was being consumed as if it was I’m a Celebrity and eating kangaroo testicles then it would have to be 9pm or 10pm as could be inappropriate for a younger audience but if wanted to appeal to a younger audience then have things more like guacamole and jelly etc.
The contestants would be blind folded and fed different foods without being told what it is, some would taste good and some horrible, the audience would know what it is and the contestant would have to guess and get scored on the answer by a judging panel.
Hopefully we would have contestants that hate certain foods and when we feed them they could spit it out to make the audience laugh.
I would like a judging panel of 3 ranging genders and 3 contestants who will be eating ranging genders and liking different types of foods.
The set will be basic but the floor would need covering just incase food got on it. The background is sort of the only set needed and a table and chairs.
It would be good to get the audience involved in some way
The VT’s would be 1 for each team to introduce them quickly as there wont be long as the program is only 30 minutes, and 1 or 2 for a quick showing of the cooking or preparing the food – rough idea

Idea 3-

Game show vs the sexes
Have a panel for each gender of either 2 or 3 on each which will use 2 VT’s to introduce the characters and as females and males what jobs they do and what sexist things they are good at.
The idea would be to do thing the opposite sexes would do a lot, there would be a test of inelegance and strength then skills the other sex does on a regular basis so the men would paint their nails and be judged on accuracy and mistakes and the females would play a console and see how long they could last without dying etc, this could be pre-recorded and used as a VT.
Each person could be scored separately and the team with the most points would win, the scores would come from a judging panel of 2 people 1 of each sex but the audience could also vote who they believe should win but this is just what they think and wont affect the score.

This is feel would be on during the week about 7pm as nothing inappropriate would be shown and hopefully no swearing would take place.
