While we was in Folkestone we found out there was a triennial happening which goes on for 2 months every 3 years to get students to produce art to improve the town. Here are the images we got to do with the artworks and the triennial.
This is made of Bamboo and is a look out over the harbour and the English channel.
This is the leaflet we picked up about the triennial this year.
There is 21 pieces of art over the town and this is inside the leaflet to show a picture of them and describe them.
This is the leaflet fully opened to show where in the town the artworks are numbered so you know where your going for which thing you want to see.
This is a web image of one of the artworks as this is hard to get a picture of because the water goes in and out during the day and hide it.
This is a web image of a artwork that was done the time before to show a range of things over different years. This is just a giant bell hanging over the old seaside where the fishermen huts used to sit.
As we explored we saw this road and i thought it would make good research and a possible filming place for my fiction as it is about war and remembrance.
People leave poppies on the railing of this road all year and people just add to it, it is there so people remember all year and can admire.
